Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Training & Documentation Specialist to lead overall project execution, ensure timely delivery of all deliverables, coordinate required travel and stakeholder engagements, and drive comprehensive knowledge transfer to client staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including creation and maintenance of the detailed Project Plan (WBS up to two levels, critical path, and schedule).
- Coordinate logistics and execution for 8 in-person visits (domestic and international) and facilitate on-site workshops.
- Oversee integration and execution across all project phases, including data assessment, dashboard development, and training activities.
- Develop and deliver live and recorded training sessions, comprehensive user guides, and technical documentation tailored for staff with moderate Microsoft 365 skills.
- Track risks, manage change, and ensure quality to deliver all requirements on time and within scope.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client's Contracting Officer's Representative and functional stakeholders.
- Contribute to key deliverables including the data assessment report, dashboard rollout, and long-term sustainment protocol.
- 8–12 years of project management experience in IT/business intelligence consulting or federal government projects (PMP or equivalent preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in training development, adult learning principles, change management, and creation of clear technical documentation and user guides.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, including experience managing multi-phase engagements and international travel logistics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Teams, SharePoint, and standard project management tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's or PMP preferred).
- Prior experience on federal data or business intelligence modernization initiatives.
- Background in change management and knowledge transfer for non-technical users.
- Familiarity with operational or facilities-related project environments.
