Heartland Animal Hospital is a privately owned general practice in Des Moines where great medicine and a great team go hand in hand. We see dogs, cats, and exotics (excluding birds), and we're looking for a friendly, compassionate, and experienced veterinary professional to join us!
We’re a busy practice, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to use and grow your skills. Experience in surgery, anesthesia, radiology, dentals, and in-house lab work is a plus. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, cares about their patients, and wants to be part of a team that supports one another.
Our hospital is equipped with IDEXX in-house lab equipment, DR digital radiology, a full dental suite, surgical laser, ultrasound, and Companion Therapy Laser.

And yes, we believe veterinary medicine should leave room for life, too! We’re closed on weekends and all major holidays, including Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and the day after Christmas. No boarding or grooming.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
