What are the responsibilities and job description for the CDL-A Driver / Material Handler position at Hearth & Home Technologies?
- Starting at: $19.50 to $25.00
- Shift Details: 7:30AM to 6:00PM
- 4 x 10 Schedule (Monday - Thursday)
- OT as needed on Friday
- Uses spotting truck to move trailers into and out of docking areas
- 50% of the time is spent driving truck and 50% time is spent material handling
- Line unload, stage and prepare pallets for shipment
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
- Use of scanners and shrink wrap machines
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspection
- Current Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Ability to obtain forklift or Industrial material handling equipment certification
- Lifting up to 45 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk 2/3rds of the time
- Proficient in basic math
- Basic computer skills
