Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler/Production Worker and Material Handler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties
- Assemble components accurately using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments according to technical drawings and production documents
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move raw materials, finished products, and supplies within the manufacturing facility
- Interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and process documentation to ensure correct assembly procedures are followed
- Conduct quality checks during assembly processes to verify measurements, fit, and finish aligning with manufacturing standards
- Manage inventory levels by receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Support process improvement initiatives by identifying workflow bottlenecks and suggesting enhancements for lean manufacturing practices
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace while complying with safety standards in production environments
Qualifications
- Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with familiarity in assembly line operations
- Hands-on experience using measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a manufacturing setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols at all times
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating with team members
