CDL Driver/Material Handler

Position Details

• Starting at: $19.50 to $25.00
• Shift Details: 7:30AM to 6:00PM
• 4 x 10 Schedule (Monday - Thursday)
• OT as needed on Friday
  
  

CDL Driver/Material Handler Duties Include

• Uses spotting truck to move trailers into and out of docking areas
• 50% of the time is spent driving truck and 50% time is spent material handling
• Line unload, stage and prepare pallets for shipment
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
• Use of scanners and shrink wrap machines
• Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspection
  
  

Skills Required

• Current Class A CDL, or ability to obtain within 3 months
• Ability to obtain forklift or Industrial material handling equipment certification
• Lifting up to 45 lbs
• Must be able to stand and walk 2/3rds of the time
• Proficient in basic math
• Basic computer skills
