Position Details
- Pay: $18 -$22 per hour
- Location: Outdoor Greatroom, Lakeville, MN
- 1st Shift Details: Monday- Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Core Hours)
- Lunch 11-11:30 pm (unpaid time)
- Must be flexible to stay until the work is done – could be until 6:30 PM but should have some notice if that’s the case
- OT as needed, generally an extended shift
Material Handler Duties Include
- Preparing and shipping OGC’s industry-leading fire tables, burners and RTF fireplace products.
- Picking & pulling parts
- Shipping small parcel packages using FedEx
- Prepare ship lists utilizing M2K
- Prepare returned product to return to inventory
- Palletizing products and optimizing pallet needs
- Loading freight into trailers
- Open crates
- Unloading ocean containers
- Replenish inventory as needed
- Utilizing a variety of industrial material handling equipment
- Forklifts
- Scanners
- Shrink wrap machines
Work Experience
- Forklift – previous stand up and sit down forklift certification required in a distribution center/warehouse setting
- Scanners – ability to work with hand held scanners.
Job Requirements
- Forklift experience
- Work in various temperatures and climates – not a climate-controlled work area
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must practice safety awareness
- Wearing proper PPE & practicing safe work habits – steel toed shoes required starting 1st day of work
