What are the responsibilities and job description for the SQL Server SSIS ETL Developer position at Hearth & Home Technologies, LLC?
We’re hiring a SQL Server SSIS Developer to join our Data Integration team. This position will be located in Lakeville MN, on-site Monday -Thursday and remote Friday. Core hours for this position are 7:30am – 5pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and T-SQL. You will play a key role in constructing and managing advanced data pipelines that feed critical business systems and reporting platforms including Power BI and Salesforce CRM.
You’ll work across multiple systems including ERP platforms, CRM systems, and third-party APIs—ensuring high data quality, system performance, and consistent integration of business-critical data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various source systems.
- Write efficient T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and views for data integration and reporting support.
- Build and maintain data pipelines from source systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, 3rd party) into SQL Server and Power BI datasets.
- Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across transactional, staging, and reporting environments.
- Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL jobs and SQL Server Agent tasks.
- Support ongoing data warehouse maintenance and continuous improvements to ETL and reporting processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in ETL development and SQL Server environments.
- Expert-level skills in SSIS and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Strong proficiency in T-SQL development: stored procedures, functions, views, and performance tuning.
- Experience integrating data from ERP systems, Salesforce, and other external sources.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
