The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with leaders, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers to understand requirements and build high-quality Salesforce applications aligned with business needs. This role involves maintaining and enhancing existing Salesforce orgs, integrations, and custom applications, with a strong focus on scalability, automation, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leaders, architects, technical leads, and internal stakeholders to understand and define Salesforce-related project requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and other platform tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Salesforce orgs and integrations; identify and implement effective solutions.
- Create detailed technical designs, solution documentation, and level-of-effort estimates.
- Research and implement new Salesforce features, integrations, and AppExchange solutions to improve performance, automation, and user experience.
- Support the development and adherence to Salesforce development best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.
- Work closely with Salesforce architects and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with long-term enterprise CRM and data strategies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 1 5 years of professional experience in full-cycle Salesforce development, including configuration, customization, and deployment in production environments.
Technical Skills:
- Salesforce Platform Development: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL
- Salesforce configuration: Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Custom Objects, Security Model
- REST/SOAP API integration experience
- Version control: Git, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Experience with Salesforce deployment & DevOps tools (Change Sets, Copado, Gearset, SFDX, etc.)
- Database concepts and data modeling within Salesforce
- Cloud experience: Salesforce Platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Admin)
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (Mulesoft, Boomi, AWS, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, Agile team environment
