Full-Time Pharmacist (RPh) – Taunton, MA
Schedule: Flexible scheduling with varied shift start times and lengths. Shifts may start as early as 8:00 AM and end as late as 12:00 AM.
Weekends: Optional, not required
Job Summary
We are seeking Massachusetts-licensed Pharmacists (RPh) to join a 24-hour pharmacy in Taunton. The Pharmacist will provide safe medication dispensing, patient counseling, pharmacy operations support, and collaboration with healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Review and dispense prescription medications safely and accurately.
- Counsel patients on medications, dosage, side effects, storage, and interactions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Monitor medication compliance and identify drug-related concerns.
- Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as needed.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, clerks, and interns.
- Maintain medication and medical supply inventory.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide patient education and services, including blood pressure monitoring and smoking cessation support.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacist (RPh) license required
- Strong medication knowledge and patient communication skills
- Compounding/sterile preparation experience preferred
Salary : $63 - $67
