Staff Pharmacist
Schedule: Rotating 10-hour shifts
Shifts: 6:30 AM–4:30 PM, 9:00 AM–7:00 PM, 11:00 AM–9:00 PM, or 1:00 PM–11:00 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
Job Summary
We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will safely dispense medications, provide patient counseling, support pharmacy operations, and collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication therapy.
Responsibilities
- Review, prepare, and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely
- Counsel patients on medications, dosage, side effects, interactions, and proper use
- Monitor medication compliance and identify potential drug-related problems
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient and pharmacy records
- Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures
- Supervise pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other pharmacy staff
- Maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide medication-related services and patient education
- Ensure pharmacy practices comply with applicable laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required
- Current state pharmacy license required
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Salary : $63 - $67
