Position Summary
The Network Engineer III is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructure across multiple platforms. This role requires advanced expertise in routing, switching, security, load balancing, and wireless technologies to ensure high availability, scalability, and security of enterprise networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, and data center environments.
- Implement and manage network security policies using Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama.
- Configure and optimize Cisco and Arista switches and routers for high-performance networking.
- Deploy and maintain F5 load balancers for application delivery and traffic management.(wishlist)
- Manage and troubleshoot Aruba wireless solutions for secure and reliable wireless connectivity.
- Perform network capacity planning, performance tuning, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, standards, and procedures.
- Provide Tier III support for escalated network issues and mentor junior engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
- Experience with:
- Cisco routing and switching (IOS, NX-OS)
- Arista EOS platforms
- Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama
- F5 BIG-IP load balancers
- Aruba wireless solutions
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, QoS, and network security principles.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
