What are the responsibilities and job description for the Day Program Manager position at Heart to Heart?
General Statement of Duties:
The Day Program Manager supervises staff and leads a person-centered team which provides services and supports the individuals in our Day Program. They are also responsible for ensuring that the Day Programs under their supervision operate within the policies and procedures of Heart to Heart Home Care.
Supervises: Direct Support Staff
Essential Job Functions:
Manages all functions and staff for the Day Program.
Responsible for management and implementation of relevant processes, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for company compliance towards processes, policies, and procedures.
Lead, manage, supervise, and train direct reports and other junior employees.
Develops and maintains an interactive relationship with each participant that reflects the values and principles held by Heart to Heart Home Care.
Implements the person-centered plan by identifying and providing support services to each individual attending Day Program.
Provides on the job and in-service training as needed.
Responsible for managing staffing needs to effectively cover staffing needs of program.
Participates in all management team meetings and required in service training sessions.
Provides planning and input to the budget development process and monitors expenditures to operate within approved budget.
Provides direct care to participants as needed, including the provision of emergency coverage to the program.
Medications are usually administered by Direct Support Staff. In their absence, when necessary, the Manager may administer medications and records in compliance with Heart to Heart Home Care policies and procedures which conform to DDD guidelines.
Conducts audits as necessary.
Completes all DDD required trainings and continues to improve skills through trainings required by Heart to Heart Home Care.
Cooperates with Heart to Heart Home Care and Department of Human Services staff during any inspection or investigation

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
