Massage Therapist
What You Must Have:
- Current registration as a Massage T herapist in the State of employment
- Minimum of one year of massage therapy experience; preferably in healthcare industry
- Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision
- Must have current driver's license
- Experience with EMR software is a plus
- Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance
What You Will Do:
- Responsible for providing massage therapy to patients according to written IDG plan of care
- Initiate massage therapy programs and instruct other staff members and family members on these programs and individualized goals
- Perform assessments, evaluations and establish therapeutic and functional goals for clients
- Advise RN Case Manager on the patient's response to therapy or changes in condition
- Promotes Agency philosophy to ensure quality of care
- Timely submission of all documentation
- Performance of other duties as required
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures
