Education & Experience
What You'll Bring
- Business curriculum preferred and three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in a hospital, physician practice, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to accuracy, collaboration, and exceptional patient service.

Summary
How You'll Make an Impact :
- Coordinates outpatient rehabilitation registrations, insurance verification, and financial classification.
- Registers patients and manages authorizations using CPSI and Aprima.
- Verifies physician orders with providers, patients, and the rehabilitation department.
- Obtains and documents required prior authorizations from insurance payers.
- Collects and updates patient demographic and insurance information.
- Communicates benefit information and estimated patient responsibility to Patient Financial Counseling.
- Assists the Business Office with appeals related to authorization denials.
