This position is scheduled to work PRN - on call as needed and will receive an 8% pay differential !

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

As a Polysomnography Technician, you’ll play a critical role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. You’ll:

  • Collect and analyze patient data to tailor testing protocols.
  • Perform and monitor sleep studies, ensuring high-quality data acquisition.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions, such as PAP therapy and oxygen titration.
  • Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events to generate precise reports.
  • Provide patient education and support for a comfortable testing experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Certification as a Polysomnographic Technician or equivalent.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail in monitoring and scoring sleep studies.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide patient education and collaborate with the healthcare team.
  • Current CPR/BCLS certification.

Summary

Qualifications:

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or completion of an AASM A-STEP program and equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist(R.P.S.G.T)

Must have and maintain current CPR certification.
