EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited educational facility or completion of an AASM A-STEP program and equivalent experience and documented proficiency at all competencies required of a Polysomnographic Technician.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist(R.P.S.G.T)
Must have and maintain current CPR certification.

Requirements
What You’ll Do:
As a Polysomnography Technician, you’ll play a critical role in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders. You’ll:
- Collect and analyze patient data to tailor testing protocols.
- Perform and monitor sleep studies, ensuring high-quality data acquisition.
- Implement therapeutic interventions, such as PAP therapy and oxygen titration.
- Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events to generate precise reports.
- Provide patient education and support for a comfortable testing experience.
- Work in a state-of-the-art sleep lab with cutting-edge equipment.
- Enjoy a collaborative and supportive environment alongside skilled professionals.
- Help patients improve their health and quality of life by addressing sleep-related concerns.
- Gain opportunities for professional growth and continuing education.
- Certification as a Polysomnographic Technician or equivalent.
- Strong technical skills and attention to detail in monitoring and scoring sleep studies.
- Excellent communication skills to provide patient education and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Current CPR/BCLS certification.
