What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - HWY9 / Cumming - Float position at Heart and Vascular Care?
We are hiring a Medical Assistant for an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in our HWY 9 and Cumming offices! This is a FLOAT position!
- To be considered for this position, you must have medical assistant experience. While we will train you on our processes, we expect you to have the basic MA skills already.

Monday-Friday, 8AM - 5PM, no nights or weekends
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Full triage
- Taking manual vitals/blood pressure
- EKG's
- Recording and updating patient information
- Chart prep
- Phlebotomy
- Medication refills
- Some travel may sporadically be required between offices (Cumming/Dawsonville) to cover for PTO and sick leave. Mileage is reimbursed when travelling between offices.
Requirements:
- Dependable team player is a must.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- If not already a nationally certified medical assistant, will be required to gain certification within six months of employment. (ex. CMA, CCMA, RMA, AAMA, NCMA, NCCT).
