HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a hospital-employed opportunity serving a large and growing patient population in North Central Arkansas.

This opportunity is a $850K first-year guarantee, plus transparent wRVU productivity compensation, an established procedural infrastructure, and immediate patient demand. The organization currently has a gastrointestinal care waitlist exceeding 6 months and anticipates sufficient demand to support several additional gastroenterologists.

Schedule and Practice Model

The schedule can generally be structured around:

• One to two clinic days per week
• Two to three procedure days per week
• Outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology
• Current call of approximately 10 days per month
• Call schedule includes approximately one weekend per month

Final scheduling and call arrangements will be reviewed during the interview process.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions
• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology consultations
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy
• Diagnose and manage inflammatory bowel disease
• Evaluate and treat liver and hepatology-related conditions
• Manage gastrointestinal bleeding and gastrointestinal cancers
• Provide pancreaticobiliary evaluation and treatment
• Participate in shared call coverage
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, hospitalists, surgeons, and referring clinicians
• Maintain complete and timely clinical documentation
• Contribute to quality, safety, and service-development initiatives

Physicians with ERCP experience may incorporate ERCP into their practice. ERCP training and mentorship are available for physicians interested in developing or strengthening this skill. EUS is not currently offered, creating a potential future program development opportunity for the right physician.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
• Completion or anticipated completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Eligible for an unrestricted Arkansas medical license
• Arkansas licensure does not need to be completed before the initial interview
• Strong clinical judgment and collaborative communication skills
• Experienced gastroenterologists and graduating fellows are encouraged to apply
• ERCP experience is welcomed but not required
