Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub for a broad OR caseload, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety across multiple specialties (Gen OR, orthopedics, urology, oncology, ENT, plastics, neuro, trauma; Da Vinci robotics, when applicable).
- Assist surgeons intraoperatively, manage instrumentation, track counts, and respond to intraoperative events in collaboration with anesthesia and circulating staff.
- Operate and troubleshoot OR equipment, including robotic systems when needed; ensure instruments and supplies are ready for each case.
- Document perioperative care and intraoperative events in the electronic medical record (EPIC) within the past 2 years; maintain accurate and timely charting.
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to support efficient case turnover; be flexible for weekend coverage and on-call duties as required.
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety policies, and hospital protocols; maintain instrument processing and OR room readiness between cases.

Requirements
- Current Vermont RN license on file at time of submission
- BLS certification
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a large Level I trauma center
- Prior travel OR experience preferred
- Ability to circulate and scrub; both skill areas must be documented
- Flexible to work rotating Day/Evening shifts with weekend and on-call coverage as required
- Reliable transportation required; public transportation is not readily accessible in the area
