Med Surg / Telemetry Float RN – Olympia, WA. Start date 06/02/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,685-$1,775 per week. Nights shift (3x12). Travel - Temporary Assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

- Orientation ~24 hours; every other weekend requirement; no on-call
- Facility: short-term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units, including patients requiring cardiac monitoring
- Monitor vital signs, interpret telemetry data, recognize dysrhythmias, and administer medications and oxygen therapies per physician orders
- Float to fill needs across med-surg, telemetry, and similar units; assume core charge responsibilities on smaller units as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (IV team, PT, RT, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response, transport, interpretation services) and document in Epic
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols; ensure safe patient assignments and adherence to unit protocols
- Maintain accurate patient documentation, participate in care planning, and support patient and family education

Requirements
- Licensure: Active RN license in the state of Washington; facility may accept pending license for quick starts
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience with telemetry experience required; charge nurse experience per manager
- U.S. clinical experience: Recent U.S. clinical experience required; Canadian experience not eligible
- Certifications: BCLS (BLS) required; ACLS, MAB, NIHSS preferred
- Skills: Proficient in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia recognition/management, isolation precautions, oxygen delivery; able to float across units and perform charge duties on small units
- Population: Comfortable caring for adults and geriatrics; able to work nights and adapt to unit acuity variations
