Overview
Registered Nurse, Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start date 08/03/2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay range $1,891-$1,941. Night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) on a 3x12 schedule. The assignment takes place across multiple care units focused on Alzheimer's/dementia care, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term care within a single care setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents across dementia, rehabilitation, and long-term care units; administer medications per plan of care; monitor and document patient status.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to implement individualized care plans, conduct geriatric assessments, and manage IV therapy and wound care as appropriate.
- Apply verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to support residents with Alzheimer's/dementia; recognize and respond to challenging behaviors with appropriate de-escalation strategies.
- Support short-term rehabilitation needs and recovery planning, including safety, mobility, and daily living activities; assist with discharge planning and transitions of care.
- Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and accurate documentation; participate in unit coverage and be flexible to float to other units as needed.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in nursing.
- Licensure: Current State of Maine RN license or compact RN license.
- Experience: 1–3 years of RN experience preferred.
- Other requirements: Ability to work in a 24/7 environment; strong teamwork and communication skills; flexibility to float to other units as needed; reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the assignment location.
- Note: Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
