Responsibilities
- Aids physicians in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders by conducting invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.
- Operates x-ray and physiological equipment following safety and quality standards.
- Assists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintains equipment and records test results.
- Monitors patient status during imaging procedures and ensures comfort; communicates results and concerns per protocol.
Requirements
- Relevant radiology experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Ability to perform invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular and pulmonary diagnostic tests.
- Proficiency in operating x-ray and physiological equipment; adherence to safety standards.
- Accurate documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting with rotating shifts in Saint Helena, CA.
