Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging studies, including X-ray and CT, as assigned for patient care
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety throughout imaging
• Operate imaging equipment, optimize technique, and adjust parameters to achieve high-quality images
• Verify orders, document procedures, and maintain accurate patient records and image labeling
• Adhere to radiation safety standards, including ALARA principles and infection control practices
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver timely imaging and accurate results
  
  

Requirements

• Current nursing license per the state of assignment (California)
• Current BLS certification
• At least two years of recent experience in the field
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, Critical Access Hospital environment
