Responsibilities
- Perform general nuclear medicine imaging studies, including planar and SPECT procedures
- Conduct nuclear cardiology imaging as assigned
- Prepare radiopharmaceuticals following established protocols
- Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and adherence to radiation safety standards
- Maintain quality control and quality assurance for imaging equipment and procedures
- Document imaging results and coordinate with interpreting physicians; provide patient education as needed
Requirements
- Current AART certification
- NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) certification
- Ability to perform general nuclear medicine imaging and nuclear cardiology imaging
- Availability to work 40 hours per week on a dayshift schedule in a hospital setting
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
