Responsibilities

• Clean, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute sterile instruments and supplies according to established procedures
• Maintain sterile packs and instrument sets; verify lot numbers, labels, and sterility indicators
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and track processing workflows to ensure timely availability for procedures
• Document sterilization cycles, quality checks, and deviations in accordance with infection control standards
• Communicate effectively with clinical teams to anticipate instrument needs and support patient care workflows
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe processing area in compliance with facility policies and safety guidelines
  
  

Requirements

• SPT certification preferred
• Day shift availability: Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm (0700–1530)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced short-term acute care environment
• Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to aseptic technique and standard precautions
• Must be able to perform essential duties in a sterile processing setting
