Job Overview
Performs sterile processing of surgical instruments and equipment, and maintains supplies for the Surgical Services Department. We have an opportunity for an Full-Time Sterile Processing Tech to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Maintains clean environment in sterile processing department by wearing appropriate clothing, hair and face covering, and cover coats, and removing/changing aprons, masks, etc., as necessary.
- Safely cleans, packages, assembles, sterilizes instruments and trays using aseptic technique.
- Correctly operates, monitors, and documents all cleaning and sterilizing equipment in CS and OR area according to equipment manufacturer's instructions
- Maintains appropriate CS and Surgery inventory by routinely counting, ordering, and restocking par level supplies.
- Responds immediately to all requests from Surgery for different or additional items.
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2 years experience in sterile processing, required
- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT), preferred
