Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy services as prescribed by provider orders
• Assess patient status and respond to changes; adjust therapy and device settings as appropriate
• Administer therapies including oxygen, aerosolized medications, and airway clearance as per protocol
• Document care activities in the electronic health record (Epic); communicate findings to the care team
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; comply with safety and infection control standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to optimize patient outcomes
  
  

Requirements

• Active Ohio RCP license and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentials
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Ability to work the evening shift and ~32 hours per week in a hospital/clinic environment
• Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems or the ability to obtain network access
• Physical ability to sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds; good communication and teamwork skills
• Prior experience in respiratory therapy and the ability to operate standard RT equipment as per policy
