Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Everett, Washington. Start date: 05/04/2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,784–$1,876. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Level II Trauma Center with inpatient, emergency, interventional radiology, and outpatient services.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult respiratory care in critical care and emergency department settings, including ventilator management and weaning
• Administer HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, aerosol therapies, and inhaled agents (including nitric oxide/Flolan) as indicated
• Assist with airway management, including intubation support, extubation, and tracheostomy care; suctioning and pulmonary hygiene
• Interpret ABGs, monitor ventilator performance and alarms, and adjust therapy accordingly
• Document patient care in EPIC; communicate with the multidisciplinary team; participate in ED procedures and rapid response activities
• Float between like units as needed (within skill set); may float to a sister location; weekend and holiday coverage required
• Coverage requires pre-approved time off limited to one shift per contract
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RT experience; focused experience in adult critical care and Emergency Department
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and RRT required; NRP preferred
• Core skills: adult critical care and ED respiratory care; mechanical ventilation management and weaning; HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, aerosol therapies, inhaled agents
• EPIC charting experience required
• Ability to work in inpatient/ED/interventional radiology settings and to float between like units; weekend coverage required
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
