Shift: 3x12-hour nights, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. This is a hospital-based travel position requiring current acute care experience and professional respiratory credentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to acute care patients, including ventilator management, high-flow therapy, BiPAP/CPAP support, and humidified oxygen delivery
• Assess patient needs, implement prescribed therapies, monitor responses, and adjust treatments as clinically indicated
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes; assist with patient transport to tertiary centers when required
• Perform airway clearance techniques, suctioning, aerosolized medication delivery, and related procedures; ensure accurate documentation in the medical record
• Maintain strict equipment checks, infection control standards, and safety protocols; participate in continuous quality improvement and patient education as appropriate
  
  

Requirements

• Active NH Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure (temporary NH RCP accepted; must be willing to apply for temporary NH RCP at time of offer; 7–14 day turnaround)
• NBRC certification active
• BLS (American Heart Association) for Healthcare Providers current
• Minimum 3 years’ current acute care experience (required)
• Proficiency with ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula (HHN), BiPAP, and CPAP
• Respiratory Therapist skills checklist completed; Supervisory signed reference from the past year; license verification required; permanent address included; RTO documented with submission and within policy
