Overview

Registered Respiratory Therapist needed for a travel assignment in Cody, Wyoming (Surgery Center). Start date 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Night shift (3x12-hour blocks, 7:00 pm–7:30 am). Guaranteed 36 hours per week. Weekly pay range: $2,001–$2,065. This travel position is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across age ranges from birth to geriatric as ordered by physicians
• Operate, monitor, and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen devices, Vapotherm, and PAP devices
• Administer inhaled medications and prescribed gases
• Perform arterial blood gas analysis and related blood sampling as required
• Serve as a clinical resource for assessment, treatment planning, and documentation of respiratory care
• Review patient charts, obtain pertinent history prior to therapies, and ensure orders are correct in the EMR; document assessments, care plans, treatments, procedures, medications, equipment setup, and values as required
• Conduct night shift duties as required by the department; perform EKGs upon order or request
• Ensure verbal orders are written per policy and adhere to applicable department policies and procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a respiratory therapist
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS
• Ability to work nights and participate in a travel assignment
• Comfortable working in a surgical center environment and using diverse respiratory devices
• Proficient in chart review, patient assessment, and EMR documentation
