Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status through telemetry and standard inpatient assessments
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and document responses
• Gather and chart vital signs, inputs/outputs, and other clinical data in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and ancillary staff to implement care plans
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, with escalation as needed
• Provide patient and family education on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Float between Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Inpatient Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work nights; 12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week
• Willingness to float to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed
• Eligibility to meet assignment-specific requirements (background check, screenings, etc.)
