Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room, including preoperative prep, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative handoff
• Assist with DaVinci robotic-assisted procedures and manage associated equipment and instrumentation
• Maintain strict sterile technique, surgical counts, and patient positioning to ensure safety
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia team, and circulator staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Document perioperative care in the medical record (Cerner experience preferred)
• Manage on-call responsibilities: Friday call on a rotating basis and one weekend call every 5–6 weeks
  
  

Requirements

• Active California Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• OR nursing experience required
• DaVinci robotic system experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required; Epic EMR experience preferred
• Ability to work 11:00–23:30 schedule with on-call and weekend coverage as noted
