Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside RN care to patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit, covering a broad age range from pediatric to geriatric
• Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, and respond to changes in condition with appropriate interventions
• Administer prescribed medications and intravenous therapies; manage telemetry as indicated
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, execute, and adjust the plan of care; participate in discharge planning
• Document care activities, vitals, progress notes, and care plans in the EMR (Meditech Expanse preferred but not required)
• Uphold patient safety, infection control, and adherence to clinical policies and procedures
  
  

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license (state not specified)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• RN experience: at least 1 year required; 2 years preferred
• EMR experience: Meditech Expanse preferred but not required
• Ability to work a 2x3 night shift and participate in a travel assignment
• Willingness to work with a patient population spanning pediatrics to geriatrics
