Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adults in Med Surg Tele/PCU within defined scope and unit protocols
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, including IV drips (insulin, emolol, sodium drips), and adjust care as directed
• Perform timely assessments, document findings, monitor telemetry, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize outcomes
• Float to other inpatient units within scope as needed while maintaining patient safety and quality standards
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and symptom monitoring; report changes promptly
  
  

Requirements

• Vermont RN license or Compact license (active) – must be uploaded
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS (American Heart Association) certifications – active
• 2 years of current Med Surg/Tele experience
• Strong PCU/adaptive acuity unit experience; drip experience required (insulin, emolol, sodium)
• Minimum 3 months of prior travel experience
• Must have own vehicle; permanent address provided in profile
• Willingness to float to other inpatient units within scope of practice
