Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) travel opening in Massena, NY. Start date 04/20/2026 for a travel assignment of multiple weeks. Night shift, 7:30pm–7:30am (3x12). Weekly pay range $1,948–$2,068. No guaranteed hours. Work in a 25-bed, critical access setting providing medical-surgical and telemetry care to adults and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the MS/Tele unit, including telemetry monitoring and rhythm recognition/management
• Implement treatments and administer medications, including blood products, IV starts, and vascular access as needed
• Deliver respiratory support, including BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and supplemental oxygen; assist with non-invasive airway management
• Recognize and respond to clinical changes; participate in code/rapid response and RRT activation as appropriate
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary) to coordinate patient care
• Document in the EPIC system; ensure adherence to infection control and isolation precautions
• Provide wound care as indicated and assist with wound vac management or other MS/Tele procedures as applicable
• Support patient education and discharge planning within the unit scope
  
  

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand for New York state
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical Med/Surg Telemetry experience (note: some compliance notes reference 1 year)
• Unit/setting: Ability to work within a Medical-Surgical and Telemetry environment; competency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Education: Nurse graduate must meet state licensure requirements; EPIC experience is a hard requirement
• Travel eligibility: Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Return-to-old-staff policy: Return staff not eligible if they have recently worked at the facility (policy guidance from account management)
• Distance/compliance: Candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
