- Support discharge planning and patient education to promote safe transitions of care
- Manage common Med Surg diagnoses (e.g., CHF, COPD, syncope, non-STEMI, DKA, wound issues) and postoperative needs; assist with routine perioperative and post-op care as applicable
- Maintain safe patient care within the standard RN-to-patient ratios (7:1, with rare deviations up to 8:1); no on-call requirement
- Adhere to infection control, safety policies, and quality improvement initiatives
- 2 years of medical-surgical RN experience
- Must have SCU and ED experience
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Travel nursing experience required
- Proficient with the Sorian EMR system
- Ability to work nights and adapt to unit staffing needs
