Overview

Registered Nurse - Med Surg Travel assignment in Lewiston, Maine. Start date 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range is $2,669 to $2,814 per week. There are no guaranteed hours. Shift is Nights, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am). Setting: hospital Post Surgical unit. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process across the Post Surgical unit
• Perform admission assessments and ongoing re-assessments, engaging patients and caregivers in care planning and updates
• Administer IV medications, IV therapy, and blood products according to clinical standards and policies
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the care team to adjust the plan as needed
• Demonstrate competency in restraints, seclusion, monitoring, and safety care for patients in restraint or seclusion; ensure competency is validated by the employing agency
• Document care accurately and participate in discharge planning and patient education
  
  

Requirements

• Active RN license; licensure actions or hits will not be considered
• BLS certification required
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred
• Ability to perform IV medication administration, IV therapy, and blood product transfusion per policy
• Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the assignment location
• Willingness to work the Nights, 4x12-hour schedule in a hospital setting
