Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients, including routine assessments and monitoring
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support telemetry monitoring as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, other RNs, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record
• Support discharge planning and patient/family education on procedures, medications, and post-discharge care
• Ensure patient safety, adherence to policies, and timely escalation of concerns
  
  

Requirements

• Current, active Registered Nurse license to practice in Maine
• ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
• Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience is required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Ability to work the night shift and comply with the Maine flu vaccination mandate
• Must have prior Med Surg clinical experience and be able to function in a hospital setting
