Responsibilities

• Assess and document patients’ status using age-specific data, including physical and psychosocial factors
• Demonstrate accurate assessment skills appropriate to each patient’s age; perform ongoing assessments and document within standards
• Conduct and record observations, physical exams, lab/test results, and patient responses to interventions
• Participate in multidisciplinary care planning to identify and clarify patient needs for optimal outcomes
• Assist other care team members in delivering patient care as appropriate
• Include patient teaching and discharge planning to promote understanding and outcomes after transfer or discharge
  
  

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license (Nursys verification showing an active IL license required)
• ACLS (American Heart Association) and BLS (American Heart Association) certifications
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience
• Submission requirements: 2 supervisory reference forms completed with dates employed
• Skills checklist current within the last year (per profile requirements)
