Responsibilities

• Provide procedural support in the Cath Lab and adjacent areas, including prep/recovery and nuclear stress testing
• Monitor hemodynamics during interventional and diagnostic cardiac and peripheral procedures; document in the cardiovascular information system (McKesson)
• Assist with electrophysiology and related device procedures, transesophageal echocardiograms, cardioversions, and stress testing
• Ensure patient safety and sterile technique; communicate effectively with the interprofessional team; manage urgent STEMI calls as needed
• Maintain equipment readiness, accurate case documentation, and adherence to protocols in a fast-paced setting
  
  

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts license required at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certification
• 3–5 years of current interventional cath lab experience
• Procedural sedation experience; hemodynamic monitoring proficiency; McKesson cardiovascular documentation
• Ability to perform STEMI call and operate in a team-centered, fast-paced environment
• Onboarding assessments: pass Dysrhythmia (20 questions) and Medication (20 questions) with 85% threshold on one attempt via Zoom; COVID vaccine booster and Flu vaccine required; strong preference for candidates residing more than 50 miles away from the site
