Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, following the established plan of care
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, modalities, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility
• Monitor patient response to interventions, document progress, and communicate changes to the PT
• Support transfers, positioning, ROM activities, and activities of daily living as appropriate
• Maintain accurate documentation, monitor equipment, and ensure patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with the health care team to support discharge planning and patient goals
  
  

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Maine
• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing/ LTAC setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment and the listed shift schedule
• Demonstrated time management and documentation accuracy
