Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient examinations to determine impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities; establish diagnosis, prognosis, and intervention needs
• Design, implement, and adjust therapeutic plans to reduce impairments and improve daily activity performance
• Provide evidence-based outpatient and orthopedic physical therapy interventions and monitor patient progress
• Emphasize injury prevention, fitness, and wellness across age groups through education and exercise prescription
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records including orders, diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and charges submission
• Collaborate with the care team, contribute to knowledge sharing, and stay current with best practices in physical therapy
  
  

Requirements

• Current, active Physical Therapist licensure for Colorado or a permit from the licensing board while awaiting licensure examination
• Current CPR Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient and orthopedic care
• Graduation from an AMA-APTA approved school of physical therapy
• Member or eligible for membership in the American Physical Therapy Association or American Registry of Physical Therapy
• Ability to work in a outpatient/orthopedic clinic setting and meet the demands of a 10-hour shift pattern
