Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy to address impairments and functional limitations, aiming to improve quality of life after injury or disease
• Perform PT assessments and implement treatment plans, adjusting as needed in collaboration with the patient and care team
• Apply appropriate modalities, therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance and neuromuscular re-education per physician orders
• Document evaluations, treatment interventions, progress notes, and discharge plans; ensure accurate charting and communication with the multidisciplinary team
• Consider patient factors such as gender, age, cultural differences, and educational needs; provide patient-centered education and obtain informed consent
• Maintain safety, infection control, and professional standards while delivering empathetic, patient-focused care
  
  

Requirements

• Active physical therapy license in Montana and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Education: professional degree from a program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Amiable personality with sound judgment and the ability to maintain an empathetic, patient-centered attitude
• Must be able to work on-site in Havre, MT and participate in a rotating shift pattern for a travel assignment
