Overview

MRI Tech – Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Start date 05/04/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range $2,812 to $3,045. No guaranteed hours. Shift rotation: 5x8. On-site, hospital-adjacent setting for MRI scanning. Eligible traveler must reside more than 50 miles from the assignment location.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations using GE HDXT 16.0/23.0 equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety
• Position patients, apply immobilization devices, and assess contraindications for MRI
• Monitor scanning parameters, adjust sequences, and operate the MRI console per protocol
• Communicate with radiology staff and physicians; document procedures and findings in the patient record (Meditech Expanse where available)
• Maintain patient safety, contrast administration (as qualified), and infection control standards
• Collaborate with a second technologist or tech aide; travel assignments do not require solo operation
• Participate in after-midnight department coverage as needed and adhere to the on-call requirements
• Adhere to ARRT MR standards and BLS guidelines; maintain current licensure and certifications
  
  

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) certification, active
• Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience
• GE equipment experience (HDXT 16.0/23.0) required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• American Heart Association BLS certification, active
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings; on-call as needed
• Traveler must have own vehicle; perm address must be included in profile
• RTO requests must be submitted at submission; scheduling requests after offer may be rescinded
• Supervisory reference within the past two years (documentation required)
• MRI skills checklist and recent work history documentation
