Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per policy; document accurately
• Monitor residents’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition; report changes promptly
• Deliver basic nursing care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Perform wound care, dressing changes, and preventive skin assessments as needed
• Maintain accurate charting, care plans, and communication with the interdisciplinary team
• Promote resident safety, infection control, and privacy in all care activities
  
  

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license; NM licensure or eligibility to practice in New Mexico
• Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to work nights and the 3x12 schedule
• Prior experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
• Good standing with the state board; ability to pass background check and drug screen
