Occupational Therapist (Part-Time/PRN) – Senior Living Facility
Healthcare Therapist Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at a senior living facility in Rushville, Indiana. This flexible position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors by providing personalized therapy services across a diverse caseload, including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and assisted living populations. Job Details:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for residents to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapy interventions aimed at improving residents' functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, residents, and families to ensure coordinated care.
- Document treatment progress, maintain accurate records, and comply with all regulatory and facility standards.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of a diverse senior population.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience working with senior populations in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to resident care.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques, assessments, and documentation standards.
- Flexibility to work a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts.

Requirements
Applicants must have an active Indiana Occupational Therapist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include a degree from an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program, subsequent passing of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT®) examination and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
