Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Senior Living
These positions require an active State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
Applicants without a current PTA license or who do not meet the qualifications to earn licensure will not be considered.
Position Details:
HTS is hiring TWO Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants [PTA] to join our therapy teams in Louisville, KY.
POSITION 1: This PTA will provide treatments across two 5-Star CMS rated Continuing Care Retirement Communities offering long-term care, rehab-to-home, and memory care.
- Full-time position at 30 – 40 hours per week, working at both buildings daily.
- Primary site is a 118-bed senior care community located in the Highlands neighborhood, near Bellarmine University.
- Secondary site is a 113- bed senior care community in the historic Clifton area of Louisville.
- Compensated drive time and mileage for travel between sites. (Located 10 – 15 minutes apart.)
POSITION 2: This PTA will provide treatments at a highly rated Continuing Care Retirement Community located in southern Jefferson County, outside of the busy Louisville area.
- Full-time position at 30 – 40 hours per week.
- 68-bed senior living community.
- Two designated therapy gyms, including a training bathroom and kitchen.

Requirements
- Applicants must have an active Kentucky Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Kentucky license. These qualifications include graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program, subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
