HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Special Investigation Unit Investigator II to join a respected health plan organization, that provides Medicare and Medi-Cal healthcare services to over 2 million members in LA County!
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, Days
Compensation:
- $80,000 – $100,000 annually (depending on experience)
- Annual Merit Increases: Up to 4% based upon individual performance
Benefits:

Daily Responsibilities:
- The Investigator II works closely with department leaders to identify and address potential areas of fraud, waste, and abuse. In this role, they ensure all investigations are conducted objectively and in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. They are responsible for thoroughly gathering all relevant facts, analyzing the information with integrity, and presenting a clear, accurate, and unbiased account of each issue.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3 years of experience in healthcare fraud investigation/detection and/or healthcare related specialty including but not limited to Pharmacy, DME, Mental Health, Behavioral Health, Hospice, Home Health, Dental etc. Ideally, in Managed Care
- Experience with managing high-volume case load with experience drafting executive summaries
