Desktop Support Technician
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician for an onsite, 4 month contracting opportunity with a strong likelihood of extensions. Candidates will support desktop and laptop deployments for clinical and administrative staff and provide basic end user support during rollouts.
This position will be onsite at a local health system and will be a M-F, 3pm - 11pm EDT schedule. Candidates with experience in supporting healthcare environments are strongly encouraged to apply. Reliable transportation is required to be considered for this position.
Location: Onsite - Valhalla, NY
Schedule: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Position Type: Contract/W2 Hourly

Responsibilities
- Deploy desktops, laptops, and related hardware
- Install, configure, and update software based on user needs
- Provide initial technical support to end users during deployment
- Coordinate with the desktop team to complete deployments with minimal disruption
- Ensure systems meet security, privacy, and HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- Entry level IT support experience of at least 2 years
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work onsite during the required hours
- Healthcare support experience is a plus
- Must be able to work on a W2 Contract
