ISD Manager

Our Healthcare client is seeking an experienced ISD Solutions Manager to supervise and coordinate departmental activities while providing strong leadership aligned with the organization's values and strategic objectives. This role ensures the efficient, consistent, and high-quality delivery of Information Systems services across a large, complex corporate environment. The ISD Solutions Manager reports directly to the Director of ISD Solutions. This role is onsite 5 days per week in Houston TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor staff while fostering a culture that supports clients' values and goals.
• Oversee all departmental operations, ensuring effective delivery of IS services and solutions.
• Apply technical and managerial expertise across mainframe, minicomputer, microcomputer, and enterprise systems.
• Support change management and project management activities across multiple high-complexity initiatives.
• Manage operating budgets, financial performance, and vendor/contract relationships.
• Provide strategic guidance, technical oversight, and leadership across multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensure successful execution and completion of tasks and projects through strong planning and organizational skills.
• Represent the department with exceptional communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• 10 years of industry experience with increasing responsibility managing large, complex corporate information systems.
• Broad technical knowledge of enterprise systems, operating environments, and development tools/methodologies.
• Proven experience managing budgets and understanding the contract negotiation process.
• Demonstrated success leading and mentoring teams through multiple project implementations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with depth and breadth across multiple technical domains.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Commitment to continuous leadership development.
