Our large integrated health system client has an immediate need for 2 Charge Analytics, Monitoring & Reconciliation – Senior Consultants. The contract will initially run through the end of the year with potential extensions. While primarily remote, there will be up to 25% travel to the Washington DC area.

Working primarily remotely, resources will drive charge analytics, monitoring, and reconciliation activities within a cross-functional implementation team serving a major integrated health system.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain analytic models to monitor charge capture performance, identify leakage, and support reconciliation across service lines
- Conduct charge capture and coding reviews, validating EMR documentation against billing records for accuracy and compliance
- Identify trends, gaps, and root causes across charge workflows; deliver actionable findings to clinical and operational leadership
- Collaborate with clinical departments, IS teams, and billing staff to drive resolution of charge-related discrepancies
- Develop dashboards, KPI reporting, and status updates for program leadership
- Support testing, validation, and go-live activities including at-the-elbow support during critical milestones
- Apply knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines to ensure charge accuracy and regulatory compliance
- 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, revenue cycle, or charge capture — consulting experience strongly preferred
- Intermediate or above proficiency in analytics tools; strong Excel and data visualization skills
- Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding standards and charge capture workflows
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic preferred) in a hospital or health system environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings to clinical and executive audiences
- Epic charge capture module experience or certification
- CPC, CRC, or RHIA coding credential
- Consulting or advisory background on large-scale revenue cycle transformation programs
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, or related field
